Education and What It Is

The one thing that is for certain when it comes to education is it never ends. From as far back as recorded history is able to reach mankind, (all people on earth), worked effortlessly to learn more to eventually bring us all to today. Whatever that day is it will be sure to be another step in our search for all knowledge.

Education starts:

Everyone get their first start on their initial education generally from their parents or first carers that they find themselves with shortly after birth. It is often said the un-born baby learns even while in the womb so maybe before birth we are possibly learning. One thing is for sure, as a species, we love to learn.

There is 'Knowing', then there is 'Knowing'

Many a child can be heard to say to their carers when given some instruction. "Yes I know what you mean." But if you have ever been around children often enough you will know that many times what is said is not understood at all. Being glib is a very dangerous state as it does the glib student a big dis-service. Information is just a collection of words and pictures until it is fully understand. Therefore it is very important to understand what all the words mean in any communication to fully comprehend the communication.

Online Education

At this writing the internet is still in it's infancy with millions of new connections happening daily world wide. This will allow many millions of thirsty minds get answers to questions they had previously obtained from those around them and it would be very unfortunate if the information shared was incorrect.

The abundance of education online schools guarantees knowledge will be readily available to those that wish to further their education, no matter what age they are or where they live. The only requirement will be a connection, a computor and the willingness to learn. Maybe a couple of dollars as well.
